Magsaysay would like to assure all crew and families that allotments will be transmitted according to their specific cut-offs. Despite the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has assured that banks will continue to operate.

For your convenience and safety, please follow these tips:

1. Plan ahead

Not all bank branches are open. To find out which ones are, click the following for their list of open branches:

· BPI

· BDO

· Metrobank

· RCBC

· PNB

2. Leave early Banks will be even more crowded these days as their office hours are shortened, while more people are either withdrawing or sending money. In addition, the lack of public transportation might affect your trip, so it’s best if you leave the house as early as possible.

3. Be safe in crowded areas Always wear a facemask and practice social distancing, even when in the bank. As much as possible, maintain a one-meter distance from other people. Cover your mouths properly when coughing and sneezing. And use alcohol on your hands, especially after handling money and surfaces like door knobs and keyboards.

4. Exercise caution when using the ATM

Make sure the ATM you are using is not located somewhere dark or hidden. Inspect the machine first to see if it has been tampered with. Scan your surroundings for any suspicious people. Cover the keypad with your hands when typing your PIN. And most of all, never ask for anyone for help

Stay safe, MPs!
