To celebrate the invaluable contribution of its Filipino officers and crew, MOL Marine Co., Ltd. and Kokusai Cable Ship Ltd., in cooperation with Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC), held family gatherings in Iloilo and Cebu. The first leg was held last April 20 at Grand Xing Hotel in Iloilo City and the second leg was held at Cebu Parklane International Hotel in Cebu City last April 21. 

During the event, MOL Marine and Kokusai Cable Ship honored nine Filipino officers and crew who have faithfully served the company for 20, 10 and 7 years. Capt. Ayumu Kurihara, Director of MOL Marine; Fumihide Kobayashi, Deputy General Manager of Kokusai Cable; and Arnold Javier, President of MMC, also shared inspirational messages to the awardees, vacationing crew members and their families.
